Sara Pimentel, born in 1978 in Coimbra, Portugal, is a figurative painter based in Luxembourg. She primarily works in oil over acrylic on canvas, beginning each piece with a charcoal drawing. Her art reveals the emotions women are taught to repress and gives voice to the unseen labour that sustains homes, families, and societies. By bringing these hidden narratives to light, she turns silence into presence and encourages reflexion and dialogue.
